Media evaluation (1) In what ways does you media product use, develop or challenge the conventions or real media products?

I'd like to think my media challenges other zombie films, as most zombie films view the characters experience from the beginning of the outbreak, mine challenges this idea, much like '28 Weeks later'. The idea is two separate storeys of survivors taking place at the same time. Eventually the two characters meet and help each other through the experience.
i am taking a leaf out of someone Else's book though i aim to ad a comic element to the film like 'Shaun of the dead', the filming style will be similar to 'The Zombie Diaries' much like a documentary.
